Once imprisoned by his own tribe as he was possessed by a foul spirit that haunted his tribe for ages, he remained shackled until it was exercised. At that point, however, his tribe could no longer hold him in the confines of their home, in fear that it may happen once more.
And so he wandered, an outcast of his native land that wore the shackles of his imprisonment as a grim reminder of his previous weakness.
