This was done on Ustream last night, but the feed was interrupted from the site going down at the end of the broadcast. To those who missed the last bit of it, this is how the finished product turned out. A complete turnaround of Emperor Ademar in his newly-designed royal costume. This was inked with a brush, and I have to say all those tiny leaves in detail made my wrist cry last night. More of these character turnarounds are going to be coming up very soon of a few other main players in the book.
I've been broadcasting on Ustream regularly each evening with more of my work on Ademar and Peter & Company. If you'd like to know when I turn on my camera for a live drawing demo, watch my Twitter page and bookmark the following link:

(That one Ustream page is the only one I'll ever be broadcasting from, so if you load it up and nothing is playing, it means I'm not on at that time. Typically I'm on in the evenings.)

Ahh, good point. They do have striped tails to some extent, and it varies from specimen to specimen. A lot of them have spots more towards the base, but at some point it does kinda merge together into stripes as it goes towards the tip. Admittedly I must've gotten carried away with the pattern on his tail (since I started it at the tip) and probably should have made the spots kick in about halfway up, so that was my mistake with the inking, hehe. I'll have to fix it in later drawings.
