A bit of a doodle I did, practicing my figure drawing. I had a strangely random idea of a mouse girl waiting impatiently at a hotel lobby desk. She's also nude...apparently.

One thing I’ve learned about figure drawing is to draw out a kinda-sorta stick figure for the character. Thing is, while I won’t say it’s “wrong”, I find it a little awkward to work with.

So I did a bit of a...naughty, and rather than starting with the stick figure, I went with the volume/shapes. It actually felt a little more natural that way for me.

Maybe a bit too much, but I don’t think I did too bad a job considering I was half-assing the drawing. At least at first.
