As soon as I saw the name, the Arthurian Legend came to mind and of course Percival was a key player. You might even call him the savior of Camelot for finding the Grail.

First off, I was admittedly caught off guard by nostalgia upon seeing the photo you chose to use (visited that museum plenty of times in my youth.)
The navy certainly played a critical role in the Pacific Theatre, usually their pilots were the first ones in. Major respect to every man aboard the ships and in the air, both the F4F and F6F were dependable planes as well (even if some Japanese pilots could, and did, exploit the F4F's climbing rate, but the Hellcat made such an exploit moot.
Some of my family have served in the Navy as well too.
