Hallow’s Eve loomed overhead. The Hunt continued, Nemui’s hunger for eliminating Nightmares seemingly bottomless as she whipped through the Galaxy at speeds she never knew she could achieve. Her long hair and tail flung behind her. Small, thin wings undesigned for flight batting at the cosmic wind which called her name.
The ursine’s hunger was beginning to peak. After the rise, came the fall, and the recovery of such a strenuous season. The desire to harm, to kill, to destroy filled her body. Around others, in the company of friends and Dreamers, she was calmer. Docile, like a kitten. She didn’t speak - her fangs made it difficult - and acted like a little puppy. It was easier for her to act that way. It wasn’t hunger for blood or war. It was hunger for justice, for peace and for sound slumber on all ends. Slumber of finality and slumber of peace.
As the Wild rushed through her, she felt the rage within that she choked back with her gentle smiles. The anger racing through her body and the ursine instincts she ignored were on full display as she bared her fangs and snarled in preparation for battle. A Dreamer awaited her, and she would not dare disappoint.
