Sir Samuel is a coyote from a family of three generations of proud paladins. Samuel however grew up wanting to be a bad boy, running around the slums picking pockets with his best friend Nyco. Ever the coward, he would always run away from trouble. That is, until his 18th nameday, when he got arrested and finally saw the look of sheer disappointment, sadness, and shame on his parents' faces.

Samuel decided to turn his life around, and became a page to gain his knighthood, which he did by age 26. He still remains a coward, but upholds his paladin tenants in spite of the fear to keep his parents proud.
