Oh man, I love that you're sculpting the top and bottom jaws separately-- I'm doing this on an upcoming mask blank and wasn't sure if it was advisable to do it. YOU HAVE REASSURED ME!

Also, looks amazing, I'm digging that the tongue and teeth are built in. Very excited to see this further along!

Just have to take into account where the teeth are going to land. if they hit each other, they will damage paint or the whole tooth.

Looks Awesome! I need to try that technique sometime (separate jaw).

BTW do you spray it with something before you make your mold? I'm using Plasteiine for my first sculpt wasn't sure if I needed to spray it down with something before putting the silicone on.

If you're doing silicone, you will need a mold release, yes. The silicone will stick to the material.

Neat idea, putting the teeth and tongue as part of the whole thing. I was thinking of using a taxidermy jaw for my next head, but I like this idea- I might try this if I do another sculpted head.

Ooooh you had a plaster cast of the chin/face to work with I saw the finished piece first, saw that he wasn't local (shipping) and wondered how you god such a tight-fitting mask. <3
