Born in the harsh parts of the newly reborn city of Tokyo, Yamagata grew up as a rebellious, Independent Xuki, That liked to remain by himself throughout his childhood.

Yamagata's grandfather was a member of an underground criminal organization, using only blades and his bare hands, and has since passed down his knowledge of the criminal underworld to his offspring;
