Somber Reflection - Heavy Is The Crown
A portrait of the Signless Sufferer (Meiura, for me) peering skyward with a calm almost sad peace to his face, shrouded in a gold tinted rain, shedding a tear, a crown of thorns behind his head like a halo, intended to mimic the look of many religious depictions of jesus christ – done as a piece for an Ancestors-centric fanzine called Distant Past Zine ! This piece took me about 11 hours start to finish but I am VERY proud of how it turned out, it was a lot of stuff I do not very often do, and took quite a bit of trial and error before I was satisfied enough with it to submit it : )

This is one of the most beautiful depictions of the Signless I've ever seen, and that's saying something when your art is already on that list! I love the little details, the scars, the eyelashes, the volume of the hair, everything about this is amazing. I wish I'd heard about the zine sooner!
Oh goodness, thank you so very kindly, this means the world to hear ; w ; I poured my heart and soul into my pieces for the zine, especially this one.. the entire project turned out incredible, it really is just an amazing collection of breathtaking work from incredible people and it was a huge honour to be a part of it !
