Works but rather poorly. She has to mend it at least once a week.

Considering 99.9999% of the character concepts i see in this site think it's totally normal to go barefooted unless you're human, (and even among the humans it's "cool"/"hip" to go barefooted) i find a character that has very limited human anatomy and still thinks about how much it hurts to go in a devastated landscape bare ... uh ... """footed""" (what with glass, nails and everything lying around) very refreshing.

Basically... kudos for putting this much thought on your character... she feels very real. ❤️

Reading this made me think about all those centaur characters who only have clothes on their human halves.

Not only that... they made memes about the fact the centaurs "look ridiculous with pants" ... wut.

Even not accounting for the fact they could totally be civilized people... we already have clothing for horses... PAULDRONS EXIST! (also gowns, for that matter)

Just lazy designs...
I don't get it. I like to think about the mundane life of unusual characters. What and how they eat, how they decorate themselves, what they wear, etc. Why almost nobody else does it?
