Man... I’m still sore from yesterday... I mean its fair because I was late. Nghh
Zephyrius moaned as he entered an abandoned shrine located outside of Khemet, Kyrie had assigned him the task of investigating what the three foreign spies were up to.
Barely 50 years and the place is already crumbling. No signs of looters for now... old wards of protections are still active and very much functional.
Zephyrius took a few moments to savour the hieroglyphic carvings on the many walls, reading the carved recordings of this abandoned temple.
Okay... So according to these carvings.... It appears that this abandoned temple was used as a minor storage and distribution point for Eidet crystals. That might explain their interests, but crystals in general are useless unless... The attunement font!
Frantically, Zephyrius starts searching for the Priest's office. Every temple was headed by at least one and valuable objects tend to be kept in the back. Finding the office was easy enough when a door sign essentially said "Priest's Office" was carved above the frame.
Its...not here...
His thorough searching was to no avail, hours had already pass and as he was about to head out of the temple the jackal spotted an oddity along a quiet wall. A stone table with no chairs, not even fragments of crumbled wooden chairs. Zephyrius walked over to the table to take a closer look and upon inspecting he found what he was looking for.
This table, the carvings on them, heh... Very clever. Carving it out of the stone which forms this table and not even bothering to hide it makes it both hard to steal and easily overlooked.
With a flick of his wrist Zephyrius activated his magical arm blade and began the slow process destroying the engravings on the table.
It's a pitty, but I will ensure your craftsmanship survives in the Archives.

Thanks omicrono for taking the trouble to painstakingly hand draw each of the hieroglyphs in the piece, it really brought together the entirety of the art and make its theme known.
