a rough design sketch for Kate's EES (Extreme Environment Suit). This suit was very popular in all large civilian transports due to it's low cost and efficiency. In case of emergency crash landing in the middle of the desert the EES was the only thing that can protect you from a hash sand storm by creating a small bubble of weak negative gravity field surrounding the wearer preventing the sand from ripping your flesh.
And with build-in temperature control it will keep you warm in the freezing night on Xennos Prime.
