I crafted a Santa Claus ornament for one of my friends' trees. Haven't picked yet who to give it to, but I know it'll go to a good home.
I have this clear memory from 4th grade in which I was given one of those calendar sheet that had a piece of art at the top with Santa Claus. On a whim, I decided to give him black hair & brown skin. My teacher Mrs. Bond didn't scold me, just asked why. I told her that I thought a little difference would be interesting & I've made a black Santa whenever I make art ever since.
