All grass starter Pokemon have the Overgrow ability, and Turtwig was my very first Pokemon, so I decided to draw an ancient, overgrown, Elder Torterra, complete with a mossy beard. I originally didn't intend on coloring this one traditionally, because I was REALLY REALLY PLEASED with the inks and I didn't want to ruin it. But I got brave and did it anyway and it came out really really well so I'm glad I did! This one is going on my art wall methinks.
