Stellawuff species was uplifted for war and are the descendants of some precursor species bioweapon that gained sentience through evolution.
They sadly still keep a mindless "feral" side that can show up during extremely stressful situation (war/fear/etc) and are assignated a "partner" to help them keep focus/cool down.. it doesn't always work.
Never got to explore that part of her lore since I moved to other projects but seems like I'll have the time now :p
