The scetch is very light. If your scanner is about to die, you could try to fiddle with the level options in (for example) Photoshop to make the lines darker.

the only thing i use on my pc is the scanner, i don't have any graphics programs! unless MS paint© will do it!?

Nah, I don't think MS paint will be enough... If you're using an old pc you could try finding an older version of Paint Shop Pro. For example PSP 7 is not very heavy to use.

PC power isn't much of a problem, i have a couple of servers sat next to me ;)
i've just never bought any programs to do that kind of stuff, maybe i should some time soon.
