Only roughly an hour would have passed until the giantess was subject to yet another change in her mindset. The hunger had returned, enough to rouse her from her sleep, the trees now reaching to barely as tall as the digits on her feet and continued to look ever smaller as her growth continued on. Her posture would shift from a slightly curled up position to resting on her knees, then onto just one, with a foot planted onto the ground. Disappointed that she wouldn't have any berries, the salazzle opted for the next best thing that someone of her size would opt for, reaching a hand down and grasped at the ground, the highway-thick digits easily carving through the ground much like an excavator. Those in that spot would be in for quite the ride as the chunk of land they were on would be lifted up, scrambling to get onto stable ground as the outermost edges ended up crumbling away and falling off, only to be greeted with the visage of the salazzle, quickly being replaced with the view of the inside of her maw. Those capable of flight got as far as they could from the torn-up landmass, while those stuck on it were subject to being a meal for the giantess.

Dirt, trees, leaves, other creatures...berries! The sweet and delicious taste of the fruit were amplified by many fold for the salazzle much to her relief and didn't bother questioning how she was able to catch it, her jaws closing and head tilting up to swallow down the mass. This would prompt her to repeat the action, getting a larger chunk of land due to her larger size compared to the previous attempt, but the results would be the same, just further promoting the action to the salazzle. More and more increasingly larger chunks of land would be torn up and promptly devoured, not even noticing or caring that she was getting in the vicinity of a human city, one hand reaching down towards it as her head was starting to brush up among the lowest layer of clouds.

Well over a kilometer now and she has taken to eating the land itself for this round. Even if she gets and eats a whole handful of the land, her increasing stature makes her always wanting for more, not even flinching as her hand reaches towards a city for the next bite. Will say that the next part has another chance of speeding up the growth again. ¦D
