Here's something fun... I actually did several different sketches for Blacklightlove (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/92823/) before picking a final one, inclusing this one I didn't end up using. Same characters (mostly), but different poses.
In some ways I like the character expressions more, but didn't like the lack of interaction in this take. This could almost be a "before" shot... looks kinda like the fox girl is approaching the wolf boy, before they fell for one another. Anyway, thought this might be of interest process-wise; my digital art sketching often looks a lot like this in the early stages (messy messy messy) :)

Seconded. This is an awesome piece and a great precursor for the final. The expression on the wolf is hilarious in this one, but the overall content is indeed more emotive/fun in the piece you finished. That being said this would have been great to see finished as well :)
