Okay, i'm preeeetty sure she said something different last time. Can anybody tell me why the translator does not work on a robot and why same inputs don't give me the same results? Uh? Anybody?

Nah, that's just the artist simplifying her because he told me "i'll draw this for 80$ but only if i can dumb things down a lot to things i already know how to draw. Because giving you one page per month and needing to re-learn how to draw her, which has an anatomy i never use... just for you. For 80$? Not gonna happen."

Aaaaand that's honestly completely fair. In fact i think he's giving me more than i bargained for.

She should have looked like this: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31497580/ which as you see is a very "hard robot" so to speak. But if the artist is not comfortable in drawing a lady like that... and i already started working with him... eh... compromises have to be made. If i pay (let's say) 600$ for a drawing of my character... you may be certain i really want it to be "specs perfect" and looking better than a character sheet i paid 180$ for.

But if i pay somebody 80$ to draw her doing stuff ... in color ... yeah. Of course i'm not going to ask the guy to give me the "mona lisa version" of my character.

By now we've come to a sort of agreement. I pay him the 80$ he rarely gives me any kind of feedback or asks opinions and just straight up delivers the end product, take it or leave it. I want changes i have to pay again and wait until he's free again.

Don't get me wrong i hate this agreement sometimes "can't you just change one detail?"™. And it has led to some disagreement and some name calling in our previous project because i am a faulty human being (like everybody else as far as i know, though some people seriously believe/think they are otherwordly beings or reincarnations of such non-existent things) and i just don't like when a detail ruins the whole experience for me.

But he is fair, delivers every month what i paid, no delays, and has set down limits. And so must i be fair in return, and accept what he delivers. If i can't make it clear enough for him and he delivers stuff i did not ask... it's my fault.

So to sum it up. Yes. She is a robot bee. Yes, she slays monstrous flowers and collects their pollen for a "living". She likes the "barbarian vibes" of talking about her job. But with a tutu. And yes, she works with humans. Simple concept, and i'm trying to convey it and having fun with it as much as possible.

It's a tutu-wearing gun toting classical dancing beast of destruction and mayhem that likes to kill alien flowers dead steal their pollen and wear their corpses while bathed in their sap. What's not to like? 😂🤣😂🤣👍💖
