XIX. the Sun
As could be expected, the rank 19 Sun is a card of light. Its archetypes stands as the "center of the universe," the source of heat and light. Depicted shining down on a vibrant landscape, it represents optimism and vitality, and provides the power that will cut through the darkness and reveal what is hidden. Of course, left to its own devices, the sun will scorch the earth and leave a desert in its wake.
Element: Fire.
Upright: enthusiasm, clarity, warmth, self acceptance, generosity.
Reversed: burnout, painful truth, self-complacency, attention seeking, promising much and doing nothing.
