You see the banner image. You read the title. You know what this is. We’re going to nerd out about feet.
There’s a lot of relevant art and porn on this subject, but no one’s really commenting on feet in a way that combines technical art, sexuality, physiological and psychological elements. I learned if I’m having the same damn conversation over and over again, and I hear no one else talking about it, I might as well get it down in writing.

I like feet, and I guess the fact i like macro as well is similar? to liking feet. The idea that it can be really uncanny and most people find it weird, to the point where it ruins images and macro parts have to be removed. "If only if it wasnt macro" or wasnt 'x' comes up a lot, but I'm sure that just echoes to some extent every where "if only it wasnt furry" ect ect..
That's definitely a sentiment I have about macro/micro too. Macro creators often feature good or atypical consideration and posing of feet, but the idea of a character being huge or tiny is so unrelatable that, in the past, I've photoshopped micros out of images completely, or avoided faving something because it now included something I can't relate to.
I think also because I used to be into hard stompies and Gore, that micro/macro context reminds may remind me of a thing I no longer want to think about.
What is it about macro/micro that you like?

When I'd posted the comment I was just about to head to bed, hadn't read it yet heh
There are points in it I certainly agree with and definitely identify with, noticing contrasting colors on real peoples hands and feet (and further appreciating them in a more furry context), the liking of plantigrade over digitigrade, and various other points.
I will say its certainly interesting reading about you as a person and an artist, its....heartening I guess is a good way to put it, to hear (read) someone else's ascent into what seems to be a profoundly healthy outlook on desires

My apologies, I was offering that link as an instruction to continue the commission process elsewhere, if it applied to you. But the aesthetics of your character sound very nice.
Hiding your comment because it's no longer about the journal underneath, and I wanna keep things on topic. If you ever find yourself ready for a commission, just fulfill the instructions on the commission page, and maybe we'll get to make something cool together!

I initially peeked at this when it was first posted but only sat and read it over a year ago. And it's not only insightful but also relatable for me since I had a similar disgust-fascination with feet (especially my own and cartoon/creature characters) and seeing them as sort of genital-like in a PG way (and still do). And of course going online young and seeing types of fetish art made me wonder "why do people like THAT! I can't believe it!" lol...but I actually could.
I also find most foot focus artwork awkward/gross and paws uninteresting, but knowing why was like having a different kind of shame veil lifted off me m, lol. I think it's interesting "how" and "why" someone would like a broad or common fetish subject is more interesting than "what" it is. I think outside of finding hands and feet anatomically/structurally interesting, my interest in the latter is more about body language/expression in a fully nude setting and it's more "private" than hands or legs, since I actually hate being barefoot or wearing sandals while clothed because of autistic sensory issues.
