I will freely admit that I love Breath of the Wild. It's an almost endlessly enjoyable game. I'm playing it through a second time and helping my daughter play it through on her own too. And naturally I love the Rito design best of all. The fact that you cannot play as a Rito is really my only disappointment.

I recently discovered the amazing work of  Essence_Of_Rapture who has done literally gobs of original Rito characters for people, and even offers a 'Rito-ize your character' commissions. I naturally had to take him up on it and this amazing Pileated Woodpecker you see is my Rito form which is based on this picture of my Metamor Keep character: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9807421/

I opted for a Woodpecker because my Metamor Keep self lives inside a tree that was shaped by a woodpecker mage. Plus, they have very striking plumage; that red crest is very exciting! The scar over my right eye doesn't work with the Rito head shape, so instead you find it on my shoulders and hands, an almost iridescent addition to my feathers.

I think  Essence_Of_Rapture did a fantastic job and I love the attire he's graced my feathered-form with. I will be getting more like this and if you have any interest in Rito you should check his gallery out too. I spent days going through it with delight!

I'm still a Zebra here, but I think I may finally have a flying form too.
