Wooly Bear Caterpillar Fursuit Concept
Over at the Fursuit Livejournal group, someone posed the question of how one would create a fursuit version of a wooly bear caterpillar. I couldn't resist trying my hand at coming up with a concept sketch. This is just my first draft, but I was thinking that instead of using fur, you could cover the costume in fake dreadlocks, like with strands of felt fabric.
