here's a piece i made pertaining to kitboys and i band boys, detroit and patch!
i decided to whip up a little drabble to go along with this- i've really been enjoying finally grinding down and working on plot relevant art for our characters!
Inhaling as his palms fumbled with the velvet of the red curtain, the sergal braved a glance towards the stage, where the sea of commotion was coming from and drawing the crowd.
It was- as he guessed, a blonde lion and a red... some sort of cat mix boy? Desoto didn't have time to think about that. He didn't have time to think about anything, really. Other than-
They were good.
"Where are you? Where are those voices coming from?" Reality washed over the male as he remembered his current phone call. The voice behind his screen sounded serious now. He couldn't keep them waiting, they were a higher up of his. "Some kind of... upper class bar", Desoto scrambled for an answer- if they found out these two voices of talent were winding their gigs up in a place like this... he would never hear the end of it. Especially if they ended up failing not only theirs, but his career.
"No, no-" Desoto presumably cut off the other voice on the line, equal parts suave as he was sharp. This was potentially leaping into deep water with concrete bricks, uncoding a ticking time bomb. If word got out, if they turned out to let him down...
Desoto looked out again- the boy holding the mic like it were a goddess intertwined around his paws, sweat pouring as he rumbled and purred- the other boy clashing his weight into the song wholeheartedly. Desoto could have sworn the red to be the spirit of the song, emboding with each that they played. He could kick up or tune it down, and that caught his attention the most. As for that lion, as the crowd cheered and practically roared back up at him...
"These boys, these kids- they're gonna be mine. Get those fools at the studio ready and out; they have no idea what I've got coming in next week."
