Made a tail today with my roommate. :)
She did the sewing, I made the fluff/etc. I'm now working on another tail solo. We're still experimenting a bit.

D: Ah. We've found ours at Michael's, actually. They seem to carry a lot of cheaper yarns.
I used a combination of the economy-sized saver Red Heart white, and the simply soft red recently for a bunny tail, and the results were fabulous. It still tends to mat a tad, but is very easy to comb back out, and seems to mat just like animal fur.
