Oh okay. I’m starting to get it now. Estella is bullying/threaten other people to make herself feel better thinking that it’s just while saying some flavour speech that admittedly sounds great in theory, but falls apart completely when performing said in action taken way out of context when applying that idea in hand.
Which make sense given what she has been through in this story.

Hm. I like this speech. So bold, so strong. So full of energy and full of empowerment. It’s just too bad that all this is almost meaningless when it comes to action on this doing this wrong/unneeded to people haven’t really done anything or minding their own. Confusing it with one thing to another.
My exact thoughts. The poor girl. She is an orphan too, her life is tough, and she didn't do anything wrong. That's her bedroom, she's supposed to feel safe there, and Stella robbed her of that.
I get why she's lashing out. But that collateral damage, that could scar that poor girl for life. Right now my empathy is with the Spaniel. I hope she'll be okay...

Leaving abuse is HARD. Especially escaping the mental entrapments that come with it, that no one can "physically see" but unfortunately experience as we process through and try to figure out which way is "right" in the world.
I was BRUTAL AF when I was younger, my friendship was VERY much like Estella's behavior right now. Didn't matter if it was MEAN to anyone else, so long as it PROTECTED the people I cared MOST about. I absolutely lost friends and further isolated myself in a lot of ways for YEARS because of the behavior. But it didn't matter, cause I wasn't in the "situation," anymore.
