Everyone need to put their feet up and relax sometimes
So this is possibly the last pic in the "My characters in realistic renders" series, one that wasn't really planned actually. I downloaded this scene from a youtube showcase of EEVEE, and I decided to test the new intel image denoiser on a cycles render, and... it looks great! After a few tests I just looked at the scene and went "You know what, let's put Silver in there, why not" and then rendered in 1080p with medium samples + the denoiser. The results are very impressive indeed, tho if you look close enough you can see some denoiser smearing in a few places.
Also yeah, Silver matches this scene amazingly... tho I guess the original idea of this series was to prove how stupid the first Sonic movie trailer was, so it's somewhat poetic to release the last one just after the final trailer for the movie is out... with an actual good looking Sonic. My job here is done.
Oh and just to make sure no one gets the wrong idea I DIDN'T MAKE THIS SCENE, IT WAS DOWNLOADED. I don't want to take credit for something I didn't make, specially something that someone clearly spent a long time crafting in detail

this honestly holds such a calming, chill atmosphere. So nice. Not even getting into best boi (to me) and his feet~ I really agree with you on how well he fits this scene, but honestly I'm just kind of enthralled by the view here. And the glowing strips on his boots. Dey shiny.
