ashleyzombie did this absolutely beautiful, stunning painting for me. Asena Kaya is my baby. Her character is a powerful presence in my life, one that I draw strength from. Sure, it's cheesy to draw strength and comfort from ones' own creation perhaps, but that is what she is to me.

awr... It's a blessed thing that you can draw a powerful feeling of strength from Asena. And it's not at all cheesy!
I draw inspirations from several of my characters... I wish I had my main sona's confidence, Cassandra's diligence and work ethics, her brother Carrie's artistic talents and trust in others, as well as Allie's drive to become someone better than the quiet, fearful shut in she actually is. (which is actually the closest to me as I can actually admit to)
Our Characters are more than just creations... They're emotions. Hopes and dreams, given life through our idle thoughts and fantasies. And in most cases, given a more exciting life than our own. Because we want to dream. we want to explore. And we want to enjoy everything around us.
We all put a little piece of ourselves into our characters... And they give us something far greater in turn.
