Hey, there's that Big Game going on today. If you don't understand what all the fuss is about, why not let a football-savvy fox/tiger couple explain it to you? This is two excerpts from the novel Out of Position, which has some football in it. Rather a lot, really*. So I wrote these guides to help people have a context for what was going on.
* (I haven't really checked whether there's more football than sex. There's a lot of both, honestly. But there's also drama and cheating and you know, if you want to know more about the book, I've got a web page up about it.)

I cant buy it because I didnt see it for sale at a convention--and I dont like paying for shipping. :P
Plus, I guess I'm not a fan of reading, due to low reading comprehension (I can read a paragraph, and then wonder "wtf did I just read", no matter how many times I read it). I would rather read music in the orchestras that I perform for. :)

i love read, but i don`t usually read in Inglish, cus i`m not very well with that lenguage T_T i`ve try to buy waterways and out of position past year, but sofawolf hates me and they said "we don't have very easy access to a Western Union here", and that`s my only way i can pay for them T_T so, i can`t buy the books ¬_¬ D:

ANYONE WHO HASN'T READ THIS BOOK, DO SO!
THis is so fabttastic, the characters are vivid and fun, with hilarious happenings as well as serious problems, plus it is wond erfully illustrated to boot!
I'm still a lil fuzzy on football basics (I tune it out... even while reading x.x) but it's still a wonderful read X3

Now in terms of what I would be.. Defensive lineman or linebacker ready to pounce on any little runt who thinks they can sneak by me I've got the size, the strength and the quickness to make the other team pay the price for running into me

Now if you can get Sofawolf to start selling ebook versions...especially if I can read it on my iPhone, then I'd be MUCH more likely to buy more of your books. I have the whole Pendant of Fortune series, and Waterways, but I wish I could carry them woth me and re-read them anywhere.
Aw, yeah... that'd be nice. I'd love to be able to get digital copies of some of the books I own. But most publishers now view the digital version as a separate product. Which, you can see their POV, because their margins on the paper are skinny enough, but I get where that'd be nice.
You certainly couldn't trade in your old VHS tapes for DVDs when those came out...though I know some companies include a free digital version now when you buy their movie (on BD, anyway).

I didn't start getting into football until I was in high school, and then that was just because all my other friends were going to the games and I liked going with my dad. Then I started college and I started going to the games because I was actually interested in whether we won or lost but I had no idea what was going on. Even when one of my football-savvy friends explained the plays to me as they were happening. This helps so much (especially because I play chess!) Thanks, Kyell.
