Holy shit this is hilarious.
Cranky was kind of a perv in some of the official comics/manga from different countries (He's perved on human women in "Donkey Kong in: Banana Day 24" and accidentally revealed he enjoys dressing as a Japanese School girl and taking photos of himself in "Uho Uho Donkey Kun"), so strangely enough this is kind of in character for him.
