"I have no idea how she manages this." Jane thought to herself, opening her mouth underneath a small, flailing mouse she held by the tail. Opening her jaws this much felt unnatural, and uncomfortable, yet somehow the captain could manage this at the drop of a hat. Such comfort could come with practice, perhaps, but some part of Jane could already feel that there was no physical way her jaws could open any farther. Okay, best not to think about it too much. She dropped the mouse into her mouth and closed her jaws, making a face moments later at the nauseating way it moved around inside her mouth. Taste was rather plain, earthy, but the mouse, being a living creature, was skittering around in a panic to try and find a way out. Jane gritted her teeth, tipped her head back and rolled the mouse back with her tongue, swallowing the dry, wiggling lump down. As it (predictably) caught itself in her throat like a piece of dry bread, she took a swig of grog to finish it off. As the mouse settled into her stomach, she sat back in her chair, poking at the spot where she could feel the mouse thrashing around. At least the movement inside her stomach wasn't making her sick, though...it certainly wasn't pleasant. Like she had a parasite inside her stomach. She winced as she felt claws scrabbling against her stomach walls, and had to close her eyes for a few moments and breathe slowly to calm herself down. If she thought about it too much, she was going to end up vomiting all over her desk. She put a fist up to her mouth and pressed down on her stomach with her other hand, trying to will the mouse to stop moving. After a few tense moments, it finally expired, likely from the lack of air, and Jane sat forward, breathing out slowly as she rested her head in her hands.
Yeah. She had no idea why Marianne did that so much. Or how she did it so well. The panther's heart was thumping as she collected herself. Quite sadistic and visceral, eating something living. Just felt...wrong, in a way. But perhaps that was just because she'd never done it before. Having something moving around in there was certainly....interesting. Now that she wasn't nauseous, the bit of weight in her stomach didn't feel too unnatural, only like she'd eaten too much. She held in a bit of gas, almost worried she was going to lose her lunch if she let anything back out of her stomach. Already, her mind was pondering the possibilities of eating someone like that. Marianne did it for pleasure and hunger, but submerging someone in stomach acids like that? Degrading them to food with no hope of escape? Sounded like a sick form of torture, perhaps. Something to really wear them down both physically and mentally, hell, it'd certainly take a toll on emotional health too.. Jane hrrrped despite herself, and gagged at the mouse-y, bile-y taste that hit her mouth. Awful. Inhumane. Bestial. And yet, some dark part of her kept bringing up the cruel possibilities of it. Mmm. Well, next time they have to interrogate someone as big as a mouse, perhaps she'll keep this in mind.

Canonically (or at least, according to the loose bits of thoughts I have in my head as far as a 'canon' goes), Jane can't eat people alive, and it doesn't really appeal to her at all. However, after getting that last mawshot, I was like, well heck, why not get one of Jane too? It's not too hard to imagine that she might experiment with it, being around Marianne all the time. But I doubt it'd be too much fun for her. That'd make her like, the first of my cast that's like, ranking at "1% At Most" on the predator index. :B
At any rate, you likely wouldn't see this unless you were like, a piece of meat she was going to eat. Or someone who's only an inch or two tall, who Jane wants to dispose of quickly, quietly, and with much less mess than simply squishing them on the floor.
