It's for a novel I'm writing, which has a number of things going on. For the owl character, Adam, he has dreams of himself being carried out of darkness by a bright, golden crow, which happens later in the story when he sacrifices his life to prevent an Old Testament style god from coming through and laying judgement on mankind.
