A 'Stranded on Adveneden' commission for
ramah
Out of fuel and out of range of any comm beacon, Ramah settles in for a long wait on the nearest class one world. Unfortunately for him, it looks like one of the locals has noticed his arrival and doesn't much appreciate the sudden company!
Perhaps the impact basin wasn't the best choice of landing spots...

Lots of good stuff to unpack here with this one! Clever use of copying to help make that thick plant growth and I'm really liking the lighting theme here; especially that glow coming from behind SilverStain there as the sun's last rays shine through. I think the only thing that doesn't quite work here is the smoke effect from the fires under that rock. I feel it shouldn't be quite so well-defined in its edges with the gaps in it?
What DOES work here is the characters for sure. SilverStain looks very much the part of a slightly unhinged local and with that garb of plants and mud covering her to help break up her white coloration she does look sinister! I've always loved your tribal and simple garments for the anthro glaives and I hope this won't be the last we see of them! Ramah too looks outstanding! Dare I say that might be the best future sci-fi armor I've seen you put on a character in an image. I got to see it in flats and much of the detail is lost in the darkness here. But I dig the plates and the softer more form-fitting and flexible pants/leggings. The way the wings are held is also a nice touch-I imagine it would be nice to hold them down both to let them rest and also so you can keep an eye out in your peripheral vision without them getting in the way if they were held up high. Always nice to see wings as the extra limbs they are and not just things tacked onto the back.
Really loving this series Sky, I hope you've been enjoying it too!
