following Birs technique. its my first attempt ever making a tail but i dont think its coming out too bad.
it's a little wavy, but i will go through with a straightener once completed (roughly 23 inches)

Heyhey.
I would suggest straightening before you put it on. At least, I didn't have any luck with a tail I tried to straighten when I was finished. It mattes SO bad because it already because the fibers had rubbed up against eachother and created extra electricity. Even though I trimmed it and straightened it x.x
But whatevs. That's only if you care. XD I might be able to find the tail I tried to do that to. *runs off to luck*

what i do is i start with one bundle at the very bottom, then i do 4 more (1 on each side - kinda like a square)
then i do 4 more above those, only in a slightly different position - though still in a square
and i keep doing that making sure to not put them directly above one another and straighten it at the end.
this tail took about 170 bunches of yarn.
I've had it finished for about a month and it still hasn't matted together - i just shake it out every once in a while and it stays nice and fluffy!
