Oh, i have been able to procure myself a warterdrake form on my recent departure from the planetship. I think the planetoid Terra 2 is quite giving as it has a perfect form. That's the good news. But at home is where the bad news is... Someone tried to steal the blueprints of the terraformer we have in our databanks! They either were a Arclighter like myself, or a dragon using a holographic shroud?

Do you get any security breaches in your home Agzil? As it seems my planetship has no security it seems now.??

My home is a large underground facility with only a hand full of operational surface access points of which most are permanently sealed. i ted to enter and leave though a type of portals generated from inside. unless they take the risk ending up in a wall or rock and portal in themselves inside i should be secure, and the planetary defense grid should keep them form landing or entering the atmosphere. making them have top do said portalling form orbit, making it drastically more inaccurate, increasing the chance they fail even getting near the facility.

I might have to build myself a planetside base myself as the planetship has a security breach. Any ideas what planets are the best for secret underground bases? I have a ship ready for dust-off with what i need aboard.
What about a planet with massive electrical storms?... Tartarus! ... Maybe, too much interference from storms...

Hmmm... Mars? No, too close to homo sapiens... They'll surely see a giant foundry ship enter orbit...

So hard... To find a new base...

Id recommend a cold planet with low temperatures.
inhospitable to most species but if you go deep enough the core of the planet will keep your structure nice and cozy.
and as a bonus you can run your place on the thermal energy

Thanks for the advice... However my ships don't exactly have a coating that allows to enter atmospheres of planets that are extremely cold... (They don't have a thermal shield for after they enter a cold planet)... Hmmm what about a planet that IS hospitable... But extremely secure and dangerous? There are many like that... Tartarus for one is dangerous... But i won't have much signal for communications...
I know this is a long shot, but the foundry ship does have a partial terraformer installed. I might be able to terraform a small area of a certain planet and use that area as my security array.
Deciding on where to go is quite a hard choice as ever since the creation of the planetship, i haven't exactly called anywhere else "home"...

While i figure out suitable locations ... How did you find where you made your base? I mean , what's the history of the location you have made your base on?
