“Ahh… Finally some peace and quiet.” Fane mouthed to himself as he gently placed Markus unmoving body on the table beside himself. The skeleton opened his book and then paused for a moment, ‘rolling his eyes’ and sighing as he pulled a small tissue out of his pocket and draped it over the human to keep him warm.
Markus wasn’t dead of course, his soul, the source that made up was simply not occupying his form at the moment. On the young man’s own proposition, Fane had detained it in a soundproof source bubble within himself.
“Hmmm… I guess it doubles as a lamp too.” The eternal scholar observed.

Raw energy swirled and flowed around Markus as he hung in the middle of a weightless aether; trapped without a body within a small source bubble, on his own request no less! And yet the experience was exhilarating.
The human reached out one translucent hand to push at the bubble that surrounded him and saw it stretch just the slightest bit from his efforts, shifting about a tiny iota of light as Markus couldn’t help but chuckle. Just beyond it he could see light filtering in through Fane’s ribcage
“Hmmm… I guess it doubles as a lamp too.” The eternal scholar observed, making the little man chuckle.
“I’m a lamp!” He exclaimed with a grin.
