Moving on to my Sophmore year at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design , from Intro to Comics I was taking my 2nd comic course called Comic Scene.
This course was all about teaching the fundamentals of perspective drawing and how environments play a role in story telling. For this assignment we had to create a 6 panel comic demonstrating basic 1 and 2 point perspective.
Again, my biggest problem was the medium. Unused to using traditional comic tools on large paper http://dirktiede.com/wp-content/upl.....7322399646.jpg , I really struggled with my work and it made learning the material being taught more difficult.
Nowadays you can just use the Clip Studio (formerly known as Manga Studio) perspective tool to get a correct perspective without the trials of inks, splotches, rulers, tape, traingles, etc.,
It was a real pain in the ass.
