This book was recommended to me by
the wonderful
Waggable
"The Philosopher and the Wolf" written by Mark Rowlands, a university professor of philosphy in the UK. It was published by Granta Publications
and is available on Amazon and E-Bay and many other places.
If you enjoy a good, cerebral read that delves into the whys and hows of
human-animal interaction, then this book is for you. The book never mentions furry, but Mr. Rowlands is a fur if ever there was one.
His in-depth description of life with a wolf in the household is not be missed and will give you goosebumps.

Oh gawd, I love your icon, BTW.
*dunks donut in coffee*
I'm so glad you did, though.
*sighs with relief*
He'd probably create an FA page post haste.
Don't ask me why. Just the impression that I get.
hahaha
You are 100% correct, the "wolf" is a wolf/dog mix,
something that the author freely admits.
The point of the book is more about the interaction
of humans and animals, and how wolves have important
lessons to teach us about ourselves. It's not so much
a nuts-and-bolts primer on caring for a wolf as a pet.
Thanks for your input!
Let me know what you think after you have read it.
