I've had up to four Pembroke Welsh Corgis at once, and it wasn't a good idea to try and walk all of them by myself. One would always start a scuffle. When I had the Australian Cattle Dogs, walking a brace of them wasn't a problem. When the first Cattle Dog died and I got the Kelpie (who looked like the little brownie you lost a while back), she tried to be the boss and would sometimes shark the bigger dogs.
Now I have two fairly evenly matched mutts, and a third who is half-again the size of the senior dogs and four times as boisterous. He has to be walked by himself, just because he's such a handful.
