Seems like its a growing trend to make something for myself this time of the year again that's related somehow to having a space background with floating, odd enough. More odd is the story behind this. There is none. I just found myself while sitting, zoned out for a bit and my mind came upon a view like this pretty much. Thing is I was staring at me from another body. No idea whose but all I could see was their or my hand? I dunno, maybe its my own hand and I'm reaching out to my self / mind? I have no idea to be frank. Much more could be said about this, but I think its best left unsaid.
EDIT: Kudos to whoever can find the hidden object I did and placed in the image that can only be seen much easier from a certain angle.

Its not really a Homage to Daft Punk, if anything it'd only count towards Thomas Bangalter since only he worked on that lil side project known as Stardust :)
Its easy enough to create things when you know what you're doing. The speakers was a fun enough experiment for the most part. I was hoping I could get a lil sonic boom blasting out of them but that didn't work so well so I gave up on that.

I still actually have to watch the movie despite owning all of daft punks albums, Though Thomas Bangalters side projects =/= anything daft punk. This is a point Guy Manuel brought up. People may think their side projects sound like Daft Punk but its very different. But because of the first part its always associated to Daft Punk due to the pure fact one or the other is part of it but not together regardless. :S
prolly going to sound silly but Peter Schillings: Major Tom, maybe Shiny Toy Guns cover of said song ^^;; as for the lighting i still think it looks nice. the glowing "aura" was a nice touch :3 and for the life of me i cannot find the hidden pic, it's like a hard "where's waldo" XD
Well why wouldn't you get it in your head all the time. Their house beats are probably the best out there in my honest opinion. I could still give you a ton of their side work and normal albums too XD but that's just a ton of MBs to take care of if you don't have it all >_>
Space is just as surreal when its the real place or in your mind. Sometimes I imagine the inner realm of my mind and imagination a vast space of it. I don't know why I really can just stare at it all day but just imagining floating, feeling weightless sounds like an amazing experience.
I think its the fluff. Without floof my fursona definitely would be ehhhhhh

I actually wish I had an outfit like that. Or just a normal outfit my fursona wears all the time. Would be a great thing to have if you actually get a fursuit to match it :)
I'll actually tell you what the object is. Its a dopefish :) if you know what a dopefish is it'll be Much easier to find it. Dopefish are notorious for being used as hard to find secrets in a Lot of things.

And i took long on responding so we're even lol. Honestly, I don't know why, i guess people just don't do enough surreal art anymore that has references in it as they used to? I don't see much surreal art as I used to in the past honestly these days when I click browse on FA.
Maybe it's a matter of where to look, as surreal art doesn't strike me as something so readily categorized...not to sound smug <_< but seriously.
Another thing is, maybe the minds that once produced these pieces, have started operating on a different wavelength, something not conducive to surreal thinking.
