Ah jeez, so sorry for the delay on this one guys!! Things have been wild ever since the research trip, I've been scrambling to wrangle my data into a presentable form for this conference, which I am currently at for the entire week. Hopefully I can get my workload back under control soon and make some comics that aren't brief hacky jokes about indigestion but WE'LL SEE
Honestly though how are you doing? Hit up the comments section and lemme know how you're doing, it's been a while.

At least she can tell her friends he's always fired up when they're out together, haha.
And I'm doing alright, thank you for asking!
Going through a rough patch, and I find it bothersome that the people in charge can't seem to tell the difference between "tired" and "exhausted", so I just hope the pressure doesn't turn "exhausted" into "fatigued", but I'm still alive and (mostly) healthy, so I can't complain. Life's rough and unfair, but when isn't it, am I right?
In good news, my brother and his girlfriend asked me if I wanted to spend Christmas with them at the girl's parents' place, so I won't just sit alone at home this year!
Oh, and I met a nice girl in one of my classes whom I'm making quick friends with, even though she's been home sick for a while now. It's been a long time since I made a friend in person, much less a friend in the same country as myself, so I really hope it lasts. Internet friends are great, but it's really hard to hug people on the other side of the planet, heh..
And how are you doing, Taily? <3

Thanks so much for sharing, LostDemonHeart! I'm really glad that you've made a friend and that you won't be alone for Christmas, and I do hope that your higher-ups give you a break and let you recharge.
I'm doing alright, very exhausted as well. The conference went fine, I made some good connections, did some networking, all that. Sat through a lot of dry talks. Now I'm helping out with some fieldwork in New Mexico, and it's cold. Spent all day outside in the mountains and totally lost feeling in my extremities... now trying to cram in some homework before hitting the hay. I'm missing a whole week of class (and a midterm) for all this, it's going to be insane when I get back.

Sounds like you've been quite busy, but also sounds rewarding!
Just remember to take care of yourself out there, whether it's in the mountains or at a conference.
Staying healthy is very important, both physically and mentally, though if you do fieldwork I doubt I need to tell you that, heh.
And best of luck with the classes (and midterm, if you have to make up for that when you get back).

I've warped him so much RIP Faustus
Remember back in the "good" old days when he was just a mildly awkward nerd lmao
Although like literally one of his first arcs is him planning on inviting a food service worker INTO HIS HOME ON A DATE because he somehow FIGURED OUT HER SCHEDULE so truly this weirdness has always been there
