Shades of Life Extra Scenes - Yoshi Prank Pt 1
....as with all things, the intriguing Yoshi does reach moments of maturity. Instead of by age-accordance, young Yoshi are usually judged by their peers on whether they have contributed to their community or have acted in some noble effort that demands reward. This is generally represented by footwear, of all things.
Hatched Yoshi's have been credited to have been born with boots, but this is a misconception brought on by younger histories unable to separate fact from their gosh-darned video games these days.
The truth is, Yoshi are given boots as a ceremonial indication of their worth, a symbol by which they have reached what, in some ways, one could call adulthood, or adolescence, depending on life span. Thus, young Yoshi are rather fascinated with the concept of one day receiving their boots and to achieve higher forms of respect from their fellows.
I dare say, as a Koopa once myself, I wish to be more direct with my observations, but alas...Yoshi and Koopas are not on the best of terms. Perhaps, one day, there will be some common ground......
....though I feel a heavy heart for the poor Koopa who steps into THAT sort of situation...
