That is classic, I remember when I learned about how to apply"Stippling"(dot shading) in an art class I took a long time ago. It took some time to get it down and make the patterns even. I knew about it before then due to reading a lot of comic books from the late 1970's through the late 80's. I always thought those illustrators use a transfer sheet to make it look so good; then I found out that it was by hand. Glad to see this new work taking it back to the classic shading effect!
