"It's obvious that bears look good with bellies!" The orange-furred bear remarked proudly as he patted his belly. "You, on the other hand, are not a bear, but a very fat kangawolf! So, it doesn't look AS good on you, Sarge."

Sarge's eyes narrowed. Is that all this bear came to say? Was it a purposeful taunt or was he inadvertently being a jerk about it. "My invention had some kinks in it -- so I fixed it."

"Invention?" The bear cocked his head. "Not one of your harebrained attempts to fatten me up, is it?"

"Species swapper." Sarge said simply. "Does as its name suggests. Had a few kinks and it ended up merging my species with my kangaroo friend. Now we're both kangawolves."

"Well, I'd certainly LOVE to see this invention work, then, portly roo!" The bear spoke, but his words were not mocking this time, he seemed genuinely intrigued.

Smiling, Sarge looked down at the ground, seeing the two were standing on the red Xs he placed earlier. He looked at the remote in his hands and his eyes lit up. "Okay." With a press of his finger, both he and the bear felt a strange... tugging on their body. Their forms shifted, seeming to change shape. The former orange bear shrank down into an obese kangawolf while the kangawolf turned into a bear.

Sarge sighed with relief, seeing his invention worked completely. He hadn't been able to properly test it after fixing it. He saw that his belly was decently large. "You're right, bears are SO GREAT with bellies!" Sarge remembered the snide remarks the former-bear gave to him.

"Glad you let me borrow your species so I can test it out!" He stood up straight, staring down at the kangawolf who was giving a face of confusion.

Upon seeing Sarge's wry smile, the kangaroo folded his arms indignantly and looked away.

"Don't worry, I'll give your body back in a month after I've fattened it up a lot!" Sarge patted his belly. "Bears are GREAT with big bellies."

"I regret... having mocked you."

The bear rubbed the kangawolf's head then walked away, making sure to use his remote to lock his invention, so no one else could use it.
