So... what does the clan think of the uh, implications of Airys' birth? Are they more accepting than the twins' nightmares let on?

Also ouch, I just noticed Vygo's fingers, when did that happen?

The story of the twins is always progressing, and many things happened between the last point I talked about here and this image! This image, in particular, happens about 16 years after they find and adopt Vyrn (so Vyrn should be around 16 years old when this little girl is born).

About their clan... the reason the twins are secretive about their relationship is because they have never seen other people like them in their clan (doesn't mean they doesn't exist, Varanar are abnormally prone to this kind of attraction), and when they tried to fish for information, when they were still very young, they were met with a degree of people finding it strange, so they believed they should keep it secret, and so they did. But if it was brought to light, while some people would definitely find it strange, they would certainly not be violent like the twins imagine they would. But since the twins don't know any better...

BUT! In this image, they are not in their native clan anymore, having left it 6 years in the past. During this time, many things happened to them, including the loss of Vygo's fingers. And... Vyrn is not with them anymore...

Vygo is missing fingers? wonder how that happened? Previous works seem to have his left hand intact :o Unless I missed something.

The way you said in another comment that Vyrn is not with them anymore has me wonder if the twins are due for more tragedy.

But of course they are.

These two pics are just, absolutely incredible and sweet. Though I have to admit, it makes me curious how their genetics work, I'm guessing they don't have to worry about the potential problems that humans do?

Their race (the Varanar) is not affected by the deleterious effects of inbreeding because of their unnatural and magical origin! Their babies are no different than other babies.

Nothing unnatural about their love though, for sure.
