After the storms the night before, the light of dawn seemed so much brighter to Bambi, who was once again exhausted and still very alone. A gurgling in her stomach told her that she was hungry again, too. Her meal earlier had been very small, and after wandering all night she had burned through it all. With a sigh she once again put the search for her pack on hold and lifted her nose to taste the air. It was still sprinkling and almost every scent had been washed away, but she could very vaguely smell a herd of parasaurolophus. She followed the scent to a small clearing, where several of the animals were feeding. After scanning the group, she focused her attention on what she felt would be the easiest one to take down alone, then crept forward...
