He could see the criminal running in the distance. Looking at his companions, Luke could see a wide array of confused faces as they examined the crashed vehicle. They were looking for the criminal.

"He went this way!" Luke called, giving one final glance at his fellow officers. He knew none of them would be able to catch up with him. Most the officers who answered the call were either burly bruisers or big-bellied donut-lovers. Luke was the fastest officer in the district.

And with that thought in mind, he kicked off the ground, chasing after the criminal at a shockingly fast speed.

The portly wolf officer whistled, seeing Luke dash off. "Well.... That criminal's as good as caught. C'mon! He'll need backup!"

Those were the last things Luke heard before the blood rushed to his ears. He was on high alert... and ready to pounce.
