Everyone has seen this whole OK Boomer thing making the rounds of the Interwebs. But this generational fight is nothing new. The only difference now is that there are far more weapons available for current Boomer targets to fight back with. Before "OK Boomer," before Internet memes were really a thing, and before Millennials were even born, Boomers attacked the generation before, using the same language against us Xers as they are currently using against Mills. 20 years ago, I didn't have any memes to repost or share, but apparently I fought back in my own unique way nevertheless.

I hear you. I have some Boomer friends who are not reacting well to this meme, but I look at it as the natural result of years of being ridiculed and dismissed and marginalized by Boomers. As another friend put it, it's like having an older sibling who kept punching you over and over for years, and as soon as you've finally decided you're not taking it anymore and started hitting back, your older sibling suddenly cries foul and whines about how unfair you're treating them. This cartoon has aged amazingly well.
You know, I don't think I ever released this one, at least online to the Internet, anyway. I haven't uploaded anything to my Critters FB group in probably two years. Given current events, might be time to bring something out from the vault.
I agree - she does look a lot different. At the time, I rather liked her old look, but now I prefer her current one. Brother, if I could do more, I would. Between work and chasing after a toddler, I have no time anymore, unfortunately. Being a parent means giving up about everything you used to be able to do in your old life.
