Within Gold Ring, towards the modern era in the year 100 of the Rain Calendar, we've got Kahō Aoki the Southern Sergal, driving a Talyxian power generating tricycle as a taxi driver, while carrying two male Nevrean passengers.
We would like to feature this artwork piece from Mick's Patreon alongside a very healthy, fresh, a quite amount of chunk of lore!

As planet Tal has a lot of deserts and rugged lands, common vehicles can be seen occupied by people or animals as well as towed by them, such as rickshaws and carriages.
There are fairly few kinds of vehicles which can run with an engine. Such types are generally limited within city areas.
The main and greatest role of vehicles is the transportation of people and luggage. As Sergals have their sturdy legs which can run fast, powerfully, dotted with a rich amount of stamina to keep them running for long periods of time, they would rather, rarely use vehicles for the purpose of simple travel.
This vehicle is a tricycle taxi which runs while being dependant on human-power as a main driving force. When it heads towards an ascending slope, it invokes the electric Talyxian assist.
These frames are made from the bones of a Talyxian organism which has been passed through breed improvement. When cultivating them, people set vines that the creature then grows into the basic shape in order to form the frame.
In the early stage of the growth, they are covered with a thin meaty membrane. This membrane will wither in the late stage of growth, and a vine will leave only a white and firm stem.
The feather-like things that grow on the roof of the vehicle are known as their leaves which have a power generation ability.
Also, there is a tube which serves in functionality as a power line, reaching all the way down towards the Taxi's actuator parts which contribute to its movement.
These 'power generation leaves' and 'power line tubes' still keep their functionality even after the main body of the creature has withered.
When the vehicle is faced with a situation such as heading towards an ascending slope or being overburdened, the part of it which functions similar to a motor will drive.
Their wheels are made from molded rubbery matter which is extracted from another kind of Talyxian organism.
While there are a lot of kinds of machines that use Talyxian organisms, all of them share a common feature in that their meaty membrane will wither, but still keep bones through growth.
These Talyxian organic machines have been developed through collaborative efforts between Talyxian-Rooters and Eltus folks and eventually become available to be distributed amongst the populace.
Taxi is a common vehicle in urban areas such as Gold Ring and Tesae but their mobility range is limited only within city limits.
Almost all of the taxies are comprised of rickshaw type vehicles with three or four wheels.
There was a type that had two wheels in the earlier stages, however, that type has been forbidden later on, due to the fact that it incurred often times overturning accidents.
The regular price of a taxi fare is about 300 cevia to 400 cevia for 30 minutes.
Taxies are usually driven by Sergals and Agudners as they need physical strength in order to pedal the vehicle that has quite a bit of weight.
Detailed concept and rules with regard to driver's license and registration of vehicles are still not determined. As always, we will determine this in the future in collaboration with
Kiki-UMA! Stay tuned for more lore and canon updates in the future!
We are preparing small tidbits of undecided and raw concepts alongside creator insights, as pre-viewing and pre-reading.

Structure of Talyxian power generation tricycle taxi
This vehicle is a tricycle taxi which runs while being dependant on human-power as a main driving force. When it heads towards an ascending slope, it invokes the electric Talyxian assist.
These frames are made from the bones of a Talyxian organism which has been passed through breed improvement. When cultivating them, people set vines that the creature then grows into the basic shape in order to form the frame.

I'm sorry to be That Guy, really, I am...but if it doesn't have four wheels it's not a quadricycle.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Quadricycle
With that painful thing said, I think this is an interesting vehicle design. The fact that it's partly still alive is very interesting. The continued assimilation and use of talyxian organisms in Gold Ring's equivalent of The Industrial Age is a fascinating example of biotechnology. Since the spokes of the wheels don't seem like they're distributing the weight of the vehicle evenly, I have to wonder how long they last before they need replacing. I'm going to apply "Rule of Cool" here and move on.
The thing that really sells this picture for me, however, is the expressions. The sergal driver looks like he really enjoys his job, and I'd swear that the nevrean on the left is checking out his butt.
It's a fun design, and I look forward to seeing more!

Vehicular classifications aside, you must remember english is not Mick or Kiki's first language.
The original Japanese text for these contained the word "Quadricycle", both me and
Coju wondered if it is a mistake on Mick's part, or the "fourth wheel" is something like the Talyxian mechanism, or just refers to the actual driver as being the "fourth" component, however the original text was clearly written as quadricycle, therefore it was up to anyone's interpretus as to the exact meaning.
I've asked for clarification regardless, and it turns out that indeed, it was just a text error, it just came in late response due to MFF.
Hope that helps.

Thank you for the reply!
First of all, good point about English not being the first language of those two wonderful people.
I'm glad that this was just a matter needing clarification, and not something worse. This does, indeed help, and it's a relief that the matter's been cleared up. FWIW, I feel much less like "That Guy", now!
Keep up the good work, it is always appreciated!
