So apparently this is what I can currently do in the course of a day.
I have my usual nitpicks, but I don't think anyone will notice, so I'll just leave this here for your enjoyment.
Probably shoulda fixed that lantern with something other than duct tape, but hey X3
I swear, this Housepets phase will be over some time too, just like the Oren's Forge phase was (although I still get pangs to draw Hemlock here and there X3 ).

I'm not saying people wont enjoy it, I just haven't been uploading a whole lot of original stuff since coming back and I know that's not necessarily what people came for X3

Amongst other things, i absolutely love the details of the chess board! how many pieces, how many of each, the number of squares, even the location of pieces (thinking mainly of the bishops, but the pawns aswell)
I were hugely (is that a word?) into chess in my younger years and that makes me appreciate the accuracy of art like this even more. Absolutely gorgeous.
Oh, and the characters have fur too! makes me wanna bury my face in that fluff
Edit: also when i look a bit closer, the light reflected on each piece from the lamp... wow!

You know, as trivial a thing as it technically is in the grand scheme of things, I put so much effort into making the board accurate, I'm really glad someone picked up on it. Somehow it doesn't even surprise me that it happens to be you ;b

This is totally awesome. Kitsune's expression, which seems to say 'I've got this!' His spooky red eyes. The wonkily-mended lantern, the way its light edges their fur in green, the smoke coming out of the top so beautifully rendered. Oh, and of course, ALL THE FLOOF!

When does Kitsune ever not look like he's in control of everything going on around him ... which, to be fair, he probably is, given he was GMing U&U and is probably still holding most of the strings on events resulting from said game X3
I realize the original lamp did not smoke, but I thought in it's dilapidated state and ill repair, it should probably give off some kind of ... stuff XD now we all just have to find a way out of these floofy tails.
